I commissioned a photography series celebrating the playwrights featured in the Royal Court’s 2022–23 season. Each portrait captures the writers in their natural creative habitats — the spaces where their ideas come to life. The project offers an intimate glimpse into the environments that shape their voices and visions.

Alongside the portraits, we filmed behind-the-scenes interviews, inviting the writers to reflect on their process and share insights into their upcoming plays. Together, the series paints a vivid portrait of contemporary playwriting at one of the UK’s most influential theatres..
